Description:

Program objective is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of physics and thermal physics of NPP for expert, design, production, technological, research, organizational and managerial activities in the development and operation of promising nuclear power plants.

The master's program includes compulsory and elective disciplines, practice, research work and a final qualifying project. A special place in the curriculum is given to disciplines that help to understand current challenges in the modern nuclear industry. Physics of nuclear reactors, nuclear fuel cycle, input-output and operation of nuclear power plants, nuclear safety and control systems and protection of nuclear power plants – all these disciplines provide the necessary competence to solve problems for the development of nuclear power.

Career opportunities:

The area of professional activity of graduates of the master's program includes a set of tools, techniques and methods of human activity related to the development, creation and operation of facilities that produce, transform and use nuclear energy. Graduates are in demand in high-tech industries, where processes with innovative complex solutions are implemented and improved.
